Black History 24 / 7 / 365 takes the recognition and celebration of Black people, nationally and globally, and their achievements to the maybe not so obvious next level. Celebrating Black History “Month” has been a staple in American culture since 1976, followed in subsequent decades by Canada and the United Kingdom. The month-long celebration was grounded in good intentions, derived from and established out of the sincere respect for, and overdue acknowledgment of, the monumental contributions Black Americans and African Diaspora descendants have made nationally and globally. From agriculture and aviation, to the sciences and the arts, to education, medicine, politics, and religion, to the military, sports, public and civil service, Black people continue to be a constant force contributing significantly to the worlds developments, advancements and successes in all aspects of life.
Black History 24 / 7 / 365 is the way, moving forward, to acknowledge and celebrate the national and global achievements of Black people everywhere, every day.
